MIGUEL GUTIERREZ is from Bogota, Columbia. He discovered his love for photography during his teen years. Graduating from college in Social Communications with a major in Photojournalism, from Universidad Javeriana of Bogota, Miguel photographed for five years for Cromos magazine shooting every kind of editorial assignments including political figures, weddings of national interest, Miss Universe beauty contest, fashion runway events, Swimsuit expose', and feature stories. He has five years worth of Magazine Covers!

He came to America and graduated from The Creative Circus Advertising School in Atlanta.

He also assisted in Rick's magazine assignments when he could.

After graduating, Miguel worked for Fashion Photographer Rob Brinson of Atlanta working as an assistant. Miguel even helped British Photographer Mark Lidell photograph TLC music group for Mademoiselle magazine.

Miguel joined the Taylor Photography Group to realize his new found love of weddings as social events that are a fast paced blending of all of his expertise.

Miguel has been shooting with the Taylor Photography Group since early 1999. His wedding have been a mix of casually small weddings to very large 600 people galas.

He has flown with Rick to cover some of our larger destination weddings providing solid contributions when events are happening at the same time!

Miguel is very well mannered, always appropriately dressed, and a quiet individual. He is thoughtful and makes for unobtrusive wedding/event photography. Perfect for our Photojournalism style.

With every wedding he shoots the client's and other vendor's report back what a pleasure it was working with him!

Miguel can do a mix style coverage of Traditional, Casually Posed and Photojournalistic Photography styles or let one style predominate. Add artsy for the innovative couple! He is very flexible.
